QURAN AND ISLAMIC STUDIES

This course aims to equip children (age 5-18) with the ability to fluently read and memorize the entire Glorious Quran with correct Tajweed and recitation rules.

Also, this course will fortify children with basic to advance Islamic knowledge in the field of Tawheed, Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, and the history of Islam.

Participants will also learn and memorize daily Adhkaar and supplications of our beloved prophet Muhammad (Peace upon Him).

The course has three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

Completion of each level and award of certificate is contingent upon completion of the required syllabus and textbooks assigned for this course.

Learning Objectives

1. Complete fluent reading or memorization of the Quran with the correct Tajweed rules.
2. Complete learning of assigned textbooks for studying Tajweed, Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, and Islamic history.
3. Learn and understand the basics to advance Islamic principles of worship, belief, and jurisprudence.
4. Become self-sufficient to discuss Islamic topics and worship Allah with the correct understanding and guidance of the prophet and pious predecessors.

Beginner:

1. Correctly read or memorize the Glorious Quran from SuratulAnkabut to Suratu Naas (one-third of the glorious Quran).
2. Complete learning and understanding of assigned books of Tawheed, hadith, and jurisprudence.

Intermediate:

1. Complete reading or memorization of the Glorious Quran from Suratu Tawbah to Suratu Naas (two-third of the Quran).
2. Complete learning and understanding of assigned books of Islamic studies.

Advanced:

1. Complete memorization or reading of the whole Glorious Quran with an understanding of the basic to advanced Tajweed rules.
2. Complete learning and understanding of assigned books of Islamic studies.

Students will be tested for completion of course requirements and understanding of materials for course completion award certificates.
