While memorization of select verses is encouraged, it is not mandatory. The curriculum for this course is identical to the Quran memorization course, with the exception of memorization. The required textbooks and materials include the Quran, Tajweed Books, Essential Tajweed Rules, and Dina Essam’s Tajweed Rules of the Quran (Part 1-3) by Kareema Carol Czerepinski, published by Dar Al Khair.
